Vale reports on the election of the Chairman of the Board of Directors Rio de Janeiro, July 14, 2026 – Vale S.A. (“Vale” or the “Company”) announces that its Board of Directors has elected Mr. Wilfred Theodoor Bruijn, an independent member of the Board, to serve as Chairman of the Company’s Board of Directors, pursuant to Vale’s Bylaws. The election follows the vacancy of the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors as of July 6, 2026. Mr. Bruijn will serve in this capacity until the election of the Chairman of the Board of Directors at the Company’s Extraordinary General Meeting, convened for July 22, 2026, as set forth in the materials previously made available to shareholders.
