Vale announces resignation of the Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors

Rio de Janeiro, July 27, 2026 – Vale S.A. (“Vale” or the “Company”) hereby informs that it has received, on this date, a letter through which Mr. Marcelo Gasparino da Silva communicates his resignation from the positions of member and Vice-Chairman of the Company’s Board of Directors, effective as of August 1, 2026.

In light of this fact, pursuant to Vale’s Bylaws and the applicable legislation, the Board of Directors will assess, over the coming days, with the support of the Company’s Nomination and Governance Committee, the measures that may be required and will keep the market duly informed of any relevant developments regarding this matter.
