Description of Registrant’s Securities to be Registered.

The securities to be registered hereunder, each to be issued by Bank of Montreal, are as follows: (i) MicroSectors™ 3× Long Brazil ETNs due July 31, 2046, (ii) MicroSectors™ -3× Short Brazil ETNs due July 31, 2046, (iii) MicroSectors™ 3× Long Japan ETNs due July 31, 2046, (iv) MicroSectors™ -3× Short Japan ETNs due July 31, 2046, (v) MicroSectors™ 3× Long Taiwan ETNs due July 31, 2046 and (vi) MicroSectors™ -3× Short Taiwan ETNs due July 31, 2046 (collectively, the “Notes”) of Bank of Montreal. A description of the Notes is set forth under (i) the section captioned “Description of Debt Securities” in the registrant’s Prospectus, dated March 25, 2025 (the “Base Prospectus”), which relates to the registrant’s registration statement on Form F-3, as amended (File No. 333-285508), as supplemented by, (ii) the section captioned “Description of the Notes We May Offer” in the registrant’s Prospectus Supplement, dated March 25, 2025, to the Base Prospectus (the “Prospectus Supplement”), and (iii) with respect to each Note, the sections captioned “Terms of the ETNs” and “Additional Terms of the ETNs” in the applicable Pricing Supplement related to such Note, each dated August 19, 2026 (collectively, the “Pricing Supplements”).
