Item 8.01

Other Events.

On May 17, 2022, Sigma Labs, Inc. (“we,” “our” or the “Company”) announced that, effective immediately, we will begin doing business under the name “Sigma Additive Solutions” (the “name change”), reflecting the evolution of the Company from our origins as a laboratory engaged in research and development of 3D metal printing technology to a solutions provider focused on helping our customers and original equipment manufacturer (“OEM”) partner providers use a standard set of patented quality metrics across 3D printers from different manufacturers, using different processes, for the total additive manufacturing, or AM, industry in metal, polymer parts, and beyond.

In connection with the name change, the ticker symbol for the Company’s common stock on the Nasdaq stock market will change to “SASI” at the open of market trading on May 19, 2022. The CUSIP number for the common stock will remain unchanged. The Company’s name and ticker symbol change does not affect the rights of the Company’s security holders, creditors, customers or suppliers.
