SAN DIEGO, Jan. 11, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -- Sempra Infrastructure, a majority owned subsidiary of Sempra (NYSE:SRE) (BMV:SRE), announced today the successful completion of its inaugural offering of $400 million aggregate principal amount of 3.250% senior notes due 2032.

Sempra Infrastructure intends to use the net proceeds from the offering for general corporate purposes, which may include the repayment of certain indebtedness. This offering is expected to bolster Sempra Infrastructure's already-strong balance sheet and increase the company's financial flexibility to continue investing in the energy systems of the future.

The senior notes were offered and sold in a private placement to qualified institutional buyers in the United States pursuant to Rule 144A and outside the United States pursuant to Regulation S under the United States Securities Act of 1933, as amended (the "Securities Act").
