Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

On June 30, 2021, David G. Ellison notified Trean Insurance Group, Inc. (the “Company”) of his resignation from the Company’s Board of Directors, effective as of June 30, 2021. Mr. Ellison’s resignation is not the result of any disagreement with management, the Company or its operations, policies or practices.
