Item 8.01 Other Events.

On July 6, 2021, Tyson Foods, Inc. (the “Company”) closed the previously announced sale of Tyson Pet Products, Inc. (now known as Heartland Pet Food Manufacturing Iowa, Inc.), a subsidiary of the Company, for $1.2 billion in cash, pursuant to the definitive agreement entered into by the Company and General Mills, Inc.
