United Bankshares, Inc. announces plans to enter Florida with new Palm Beach office

The expansion will include a full-service banking office at 218 Royal Palm Way on Palm Beach Island and will offer integrated commercial banking, private banking, wealth management, treasury management, and lending services to individuals, families, business owners, and commercial clients across Palm Beach and the broader South Florida market.

The expansion represents United Bankshares’ de novo entry into Florida and reflects the Bank’s commitment to building a meaningful, long-term presence in the state through local leadership and specialized talent.

"Our focus for future geographic expansion continues to be on the Southeast, where we've seen strong opportunities and positive demographic trends," said Richard M.
