Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Principal Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Principal Officers.

On February 17, 2022, Valley National Bancorp (the “Company”) announced that Robert J. Bardusch, Senior Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, will leave the Company and Valley National Bank effective April 1, 2022.
