NEW YORK, Dec. 15, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Value Line, Inc., (NASDAQ: VALU) reported financial results for the second fiscal quarter ended October 31, 2023.

Retained earnings at October 31, 2023, were $99,046,000, an increase of 3.2% compared to retained earnings at April 30, 2023. Shareholders' equity reached $85,742,000 at October 31, 2023, an increase of 2.5% from the shareholders' equity of $83,673,000 as of April 30, 2023.

During the six months ended October 31, 2023, the Company's net income of $8,347,000, or $0.89 per share, was 5.0% below net income of $8,788,000, or $0.93 per share, for the six months ended October 31, 2022.

During the three months ended October 31, 2023, the Company's net income of $3,488,000, or $0.37 per share, compared to net income of $4,330,000, or $0.46 per share, for the three months ended October 31, 2022.
