1. The number of shares held directly includes certain shares that were previously held by Stock Award and that have subsequently vested.

2. Stock Awards granted pursuant to the Columbia Financial, Inc. 2019 Equity Incentive Plan vest in five approximately equal annual installments commencing on July 23, 2020.

3. Stock Awards granted pursuant to the Columbia Financial, Inc. 2019 Equity Incentive Plan which vest in one year on June 20, 2024.

4. Stock Options granted pursuant to the Columbia Financial, Inc. 2019 Equity Incentive Plan vest in five approximately equal annual installments commencing on July 23, 2020.

Remarks:

In 2023 the reporting person as executor of his spouses estate transferred 6000 shares held indirectly By Spouse and 1000 shares held indirectly By Trust Spouse Trustee to a beneficiary of the estate.
