Item 2.02. Results of Operations and Financial Condition.

As previously announced, on November 3, 2022, Veeva Systems Inc. (the “Company”) presented its 2022 Investor Day, which was accessible via live webcast through (and a replay of the presentation is currently available on) the Company’s investor relations website.

On August 31, 2022, in its quarterly earnings conference call, the Company had previously provided preliminary guidance for certain of the Company’s anticipated financial metrics for the third quarter of fiscal year 2023. During the Investor Day presentation, Brent Bowman, the Company’s Chief Financial Officer, presented a slide containing the previously announced guidance and stated that the Company expects to report third quarter of fiscal year 2023 results

at or above the previously announced guidance. A copy of the slide is furnished herewith as Exhibit 99.1 to this Current Report on Form 8-K and is incorporated herein by reference.
