Omni One Orders Increase Threefold Following Meta Launch

Company Advances Defense Programs, Enterprise Sales and Acquisition Strategy

AUSTIN, Texas, Sept. 14, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Virtuix Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ:VTIX), a leading developer of AI-driven, full-body simulation systems, today provided an update on the strength of its business and progress across its consumer, defense, and enterprise markets, as well as its acquisition strategy.

The number of Omni One orders is up approximately 3X quarter-to-date compared to the same period last year, following the June launch of Omni One for Quest in collaboration with Meta. The acceleration builds on the momentum reported in Virtuix’s first fiscal quarter, when Omni One orders increased 72% year-over-year. The Company believes its integration with the Meta Quest ecosystem significantly expands Omni One’s addressable market and provides a strong foundation for continued consumer growth.

Defense Programs Progress Toward Larger Contract Opportunities

Virtuix continues to advance multiple programs with the U.S. Department of Defense. During the current quarter, the Company received its first contract revenue from the U.S. Air Force under its AFWERX Small Business Innovation Research ("SBIR") Phase I award for Virtuix’s Virtual Terrain Walk ("VTW") platform. Virtuix expects to complete Phase I this month and intends to submit a proposal for Phase II with support from several U.S. Air Force squadrons and departments. Phase II awards can provide up to approximately $2 million in additional funding and would enable the Company to further deploy its VTW technology for military mission-planning applications.

Virtuix is also showcasing its Counter-Unmanned Aircraft System (C-UAS) Personnel Trainer this week at the Maneuver Warfighter Conference, where U.S. Army and Joint leaders gather to examine current and future requirements of the maneuver force. Developed in collaboration with LeadTech and integrating Omni One, the system enables warfighters to physically maneuver through realistic virtual environments while training to detect and defeat hostile drones.

In addition, Virtuix is advancing its four-person Infantry Fireteam Trainer for the U.S. Marine Corps, with installation at Quantico, Virginia expected later this year. These initiatives form part of Virtuix’s strategy to progress from initial development programs and system deployments toward larger, multi-unit defense contracts.

Virtuix’s defense footprint now includes programs, sales, and collaborations across all four major branches of the U.S. military. Recent milestones include the Air Force SBIR award; appointment as lead systems integrator for the Marine Corps Infantry Fireteam Trainer; entry into counter-drone training; deployments with the U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force Academy, U.S. Military Academy at West Point, Air National Guard, and Yokota Air Base in Japan; and a cooperative research and development agreement with the U.S. Navy.

Acquisition Strategy Could Accelerate Defense Expansion

Virtuix continues to actively pursue strategic acquisitions in the defense sector and is in advanced negotiations regarding a potential transaction with a target whose annual revenues are near the upper end of the Company’s previously announced target range of $10 million to $50 million, at a valuation and financing structure that, if completed, the Company believes could create significant value for Virtuix shareholders.

Beyond the potential addition of substantial revenue, Virtuix believes a strategic defense acquisition could provide significant benefits through established contract vehicles, past performance, customer relationships, and sales channels across the U.S. Department of Defense. These capabilities could help accelerate Virtuix’s ability to pursue larger contracts for its existing defense technologies, including Virtual Terrain Walk and counter-UAS applications.

The potential transaction remains subject to negotiation, due diligence, definitive agreements, financing, and customary closing conditions, and there can be no assurance that a transaction will be completed.

Enterprise Demand Grows with Follow-On Robotics Sales

Virtuix is also experiencing growing demand for Omni One Enterprise, its commercial platform for industrial training, healthcare, research, AI, robotics and other professional applications. During this quarter, Tesla, Inc. placed repeat Omni One Enterprise orders for use in its Optimus humanoid robot program. Figure AI, another company developing humanoid robots, also purchased Omni One Enterprise, further validating Omni One’s potential role in the rapidly developing embodied-AI and humanoid-robotics markets.

Omni One Enterprise has also been gaining traction in the fields of industrial training, healthcare, and research, with multiple systems sold this quarter to NASA, KBR, Sirica Therapeutics, and various research institutions. Virtuix believes these emerging applications represent an additional, high-margin growth market for its technology beyond its established consumer gaming and defense businesses.
