ROCHESTER, N.Y., Sept. 23, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Vuzix® Corporation (NASDAQ:VUZI), ("Vuzix" or, the "Company"), a leading supplier of AI-powered smart glasses, waveguides and Augmented Reality (AR) technologies, today announced that it has entered into a wide-ranging distribution agreement with CommsPlus Distribution ("CommsPlus"), an Australia-based value-added distributor, and has received and shipped against an initial six-figure smart glasses order.

CommsPlus will distribute Vuzix Smart Glasses across Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific region.

CommsPlus will distribute Vuzix AI-powered smart glasses across Australia, New Zealand and selected Pacific markets, providing value-added distribution, technical enablement and channel development to accelerate enterprise XR adoption.

The partnership will leverage CommsPlus' specialist channel network under a Value-Added Distributor (VAD) model focused on partner recruitment, technical enablement, solution development, proof-of-concept programs and industry-specific market activation.

CommsPlus will recruit software developers, systems integrators and AI solution providers to combine Vuzix smart glasses with industry-specific applications and enterprise workflows. Solutions will leverage AI-powered vision, remote assistance, digital workflows and enterprise integrations to improve frontline productivity using Vuzix M400™ and LX1™ smart glasses.

Initial markets include mining and resources, logistics, healthcare and telehealth, utilities, field services, manufacturing, electrical contracting and other frontline applications. The partnership will also explore government and defense opportunities where hands-free workflows, remote expert guidance and secure wearable computing are gaining momentum.
