Methodology
Quantisnow ingests the SEC EDGAR real-time feed and classifies each accepted filing by form type. Counts are filings about companies Quantisnow covers, bucketed by the month Quantisnow received them.
Form 4 includes every Form 4, including the purchases counted in the Insider Buying Index. Amendments are counted under their base form.
Counts are distinct Quantisnow wire items, bucketed by the calendar month (UTC) in which Quantisnow first received them. Each item carries one event category assigned by our parsers at ingest; an item is never counted in two categories.
Figures are recomputed daily from the Quantisnow event database. The current month is marked as month to date until it closes; the previous month is recomputed daily through the following month to pick up late filings, then stays fixed.
