Highlights Operational Readiness and Growing Engagement from Customers and Partners

Hexion Joint Venture Enhances Commercial Pathway and Expands Industry Reach

Management to Host Conference Call at 9 a.m. ET Today

CitroTech Inc. (NYSE AM: CITR), a leading specialty chemical company delivering environmentally-safe fire inhibitor solutions, today announced financial results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2026 and provided a business update highlighting continued progress toward broad commercialization.

"CitroTech has reached a meaningful inflection point having transitioned from technology validation to the early stages of commercial deployment," said Wes Bolsen, Chief Executive Officer of CitroTech. "Over the past several quarters, we have focused on building the operational, manufacturing and commercial foundation required to support execution. While we remain early in our revenue ramp, we are encouraged by the increasing engagement from utilities, fire agencies, engineered wood producers and building materials companies.

"The joint venture we formed with Hexion in April represents a step-change in our commercial strategy and go-to-market capabilities. The partnership combines Hexion's deep industry footprint and technical expertise with CitroTech's fire-retardant technology platform, creating a more scalable pathway to market. It is designed to accelerate adoption across the wood products industry, streamline integration with manufacturers, and expand our ability to deliver Class A fire-rated solutions at commercial scale.

"Looking ahead, our focus is execution, scaling commercial partnerships, expanding manufacturing readiness and accelerating deployment across both public and private sector channels. As wildfire risk intensifies and regulatory and insurance-driven pressures continue to reshape building standards and materials selection, we believe demand for our solutions, which is already robust, will continue to intensify. Early customer engagement and emerging partnerships reinforce our optimism and strengthen confidence in our commercial trajectory as we progress through 2026 and beyond."
