Item 8.01 Other Events.

On April 17, 2023, the Company announced that Ms. Priscilla Hung, the Company’s President and Chief Operating Officer intends to take a sabbatical starting in June 2023, with the specific start date yet to be finalized. Ms. Hung joined Guidewire in 2005 and has led a number of critical functional areas such as Sales, Alliances, Corporate Development, Product and Operations during her tenure. Recent additions to the management team along with advancement in company projects now afford Ms. Hung the well-earned opportunity for some time away after nearly 18 years of uninterrupted, dedicated contributions. During the sabbatical, which is intended to last no more than 6 months, Ms. Hung will remain an at-will employee of the Company.
