Juniper becomes Hers, bringing new treatments spanning hair regrowth, menopause and perimenopause, and comprehensive weight management

The launch marks the rebrand of Juniper, Eucalyptus' women's health platform, which has served patients in Australia since 2021, to Hers. It follows Pilot's transition to Hims in August and completes Hims & Hers' full platform launch in Australia, building on the company's acquisition of Eucalyptus earlier this year.

Hers brings a new kind of weight management experience to the Australian market: one designed specifically for women, combining world-leading clinical expertise with comprehensive, ongoing support. Beyond weight management, Hers is introducing new, innovative formulations of clinically proven treatment options for hair regrowth, addressing a condition that remains deeply stigmatised and for which many women struggle to find effective care. Going further, Hers is committed to providing a deeper understanding of women's hormonal health, with services spanning conditions like PMOS and life stages like perimenopause and menopause.

Rather than treating symptoms in isolation, Hers connects the dots across women's health, bringing clarity, connection, and support without judgment. With access to medication, nutrition and fitness support, and a Care Team available 24/7, Hers is rethinking what it means to be cared for, not just treated.

For weight management, patients also get access to a digital weight loss companion in their pocket, built on Hers' own research and grounded in more than 20 peer-reviewed studies focused specifically on women's needs. Across every specialty, women may request a female practitioner, and access a community of more than 27,000 women supporting one another through their health journeys.

50% of Australians avoid accessing care mainly due to cost, and our internal data shows that of the 52% of Australian women who felt judged for their weight by a healthcare professional, 72% avoided seeking clinical help (Juniper U&A Survey, May 2026). For the nearly 30% of Australians in regional and rural areas, where specialist wait times of four or more weeks are common, the barrier only compounds. Hers was built to close that gap, bringing high-quality women's health care to more Australians, in more places.

"Women in Australia deserve access to care that sees them as whole people, not just as symptoms to treat, and that meets them wherever they are," said Rebecca Holdt, VP of Product, International. "That's what digital health makes possible. It strengthens national health systems, putting quality care within reach whether a woman is in the heart of Sydney or hours from the nearest specialist. Juniper already showed us how much women in Australia want this. Now, as Hers, we get to deliver it at a whole new level."

"Women are so often the ones holding everything together, while their own health gets pushed to the bottom of the list," said Matt Vickers, FRACGP, MBBS, BMedSci, AICGG, Chief Medical Officer of Hims & Hers Australia. "I see the cost of that every day: symptoms dismissed, care delayed. Women need care they can trust to just work, grounded in real evidence, delivered by experienced clinicians, and built around their whole body health, not just the symptom in front of them."

The launch builds on Hers' momentum across North America and Europe, extending a proven model into one of the fastest-growing digital health markets in the world. Australia's telehealth sector alone is projected to grow from roughly $542 million to $2.56 billion by 2034.

Current Juniper patients will continue to be supported by the same care team and Australian practitioners, now backed by a broader range of specialties and the scale of a global women's health leader.

Serving Australian women well starts with local leadership backed by global clinical standards. Gus Wood, General Manager of Australia will oversee the market alongside Dr. Matt Vickers, a practicing GP who has led health-tech efforts at Eucalyptus since 2019, who will serve as Chief Medical Officer of Hims & Hers Australia. Dr. Jessica Shepherd, Chief Medical Officer of Hers, will also ensure Hers Australia upholds the high standard of expertise Hers has built everywhere it operates.
