(NASDAQ:GCTK), today announced that it will partner with Pepperdine E2B™ (Education to Business) to engage students in its ai² Pipeline™ initiative during the upcoming academic year. The collaboration is intended to provide students with hands-on experience evaluating real-world biopharmaceutical opportunities while supporting Lōkahi's ongoing efforts to identify and assess therapeutic assets through its ai² platform.

The Pepperdine collaboration will begin with a project involving full-time MBA students in a marketing course taught by Professor Kimber Maderazzo at the Pepperdine Graziadio Business School. Through the ai² Pipeline™ program, participating students will work alongside Lōkahi professionals to identify, evaluate, and prioritize therapeutic opportunities. Project teams will assess scientific, regulatory, intellectual property, commercial, and strategic considerations that influence decisions across the biopharmaceutical asset lifecycle. Students will develop recommendations based on structured analysis of actual therapeutic opportunities rather than hypothetical case studies.

During its first year, the ai² Futures Lab™ engaged 64 students and identified more than 45 potential assets, several of which have advanced into active pipeline discussions. The program is designed to expand Lōkahi’s sourcing reach and analytical capacity while supporting a disciplined, capital-efficient approach to pipeline development.

The collaboration reflects Lōkahi's belief that important therapeutic opportunities are frequently overlooked due to changes in strategic priorities, capital availability, or organizational focus rather than scientific merit alone. By combining disciplined human judgment with data, analytics, and technology, the ai² platform seeks to identify and evaluate opportunities that may warrant further consideration.
