Changelog

What's new

Everything we change on the site and in the app, newest first. Most of it starts with a message from someone who uses Quantisnow.

Something you want next, or something that bugs you?

November 2026

  1. Fixed·Web and app

Setup keeps the stock you signed up for

If you signed up from a stock, setup now marks it as Following, and tapping it no longer unfollows it by accident.

  2. Improved·Web

Tidier menus and a clearer feed toolbar

The menus are shorter and say what each page is, and the feed's Filters and View buttons now carry their names on phones.

    • Trending, Most shorted and Most followed live together under Top lists, the publishing pages under Publish with us, and Keyword impact with the other calculators. Search still finds every page by name.
    • Feeds are named as feeds (Analyst ratings feed, Insider trades feed, SEC filings feed), and Insights is now Search the archive.
    • Signed out, the AI score on each story is a small lock instead of a sign-up line, and fewer pop-ups get in the way of reading.
  3. Fixed·Web and app

Email sign-up gets you in, even after a detour

Coming back to sign-up with a new password, tapping the link in the code email, or asking for a new code now carries you through instead of stopping you.

    • If you left the code screen and came back with a different password, we start your sign-up over with the new one instead of saying the email is taken.
    • The link in the code email now confirms your account in one tap, and every code email, including resends, says which code is the newest.
    • We catch email addresses whose domain can't receive mail, so a typo doesn't leave you waiting for a code that never comes.
    Try it
  4. New·Web and app

Dividend alerts: raises, cuts and ex-dates

Get an alert when a company raises, cuts or suspends its dividend or pays a special one, with the amount and the change from last time, plus a reminder the day before a stock you follow goes ex-dividend.

    • Each alert reads like "$SNA raises its quarterly dividend 13% to $2.75. Was $2.44. Ex-dividend Nov 20, paid Dec 10." Cuts and suspensions come first.
    • By default it covers companies over $2B and only changes, about 2 a day. Pick a smaller size, or every declaration including routine ones.
    • The ex-dividend reminder comes the trading day before, so you know to own the stock by that day's close to get the payout.
    • Turn it on from /dividends or the Alerts page, by email, push or on the site. In the app, it is under Markets, Dividends and on the Alerts screen.

  5. Improved·Web

The Open and The Close now start with market history

The daily emails dropped the investor quotes. On days with a notable anniversary, like Black Monday or the 2009 low, they open with what happened in the markets on that date instead.

  6. Improved·Web and app

Sign-up remembers the stock you wanted to follow

Tap Follow on a stock before you have an account and sign-up now opens with that stock, how much news it had lately, and how its alerts will reach you. The email form is on the first screen.

    • You follow the stock as soon as your account is made, whether you sign up with email, Google or Apple.
    • The count of recent stories comes from our own feed for that stock over the last 30 days.
    Try it
  7. New·Web and app

A year of news at a glance on every stock page

Stock pages now show the past 52 weeks of news as a grid of trading days, colored by what happened: earnings, insider trades, analyst ratings, or filings and other news.

    • Each square is one trading day. The stronger the color, the more happened that day. Dashed squares are market holidays.
    • Tap or hover a day to see what came out, like "May 19: 8 insider trades".
    • News that comes out on a weekend counts toward the next trading day.
    Try it
  8. Fixed·Web

A mistyped sign-up code no longer locks you out

If a confirmation code was wrong or expired, sign-up kept sending it again until your email was blocked for a while. Now it tries once, so you can fix the code or ask for a new one.

    Try it
  9. New·Web and app

Follow an insider, not just a stock

Every CEO, director and big shareholder who files a Form 4 now has a page, and you can follow them to get an alert the minute they file again.

    • Each page shows every company the person reports at, what they bought and sold, and what they still hold, from their SEC filings back to 2021.
    • Follow someone and their next filing reaches you by email, and on Plus as a phone notification too, wherever they trade.
    • Find people by name in search, from any Form 4 story, or in the insider list on each company's insider page.

  10. Improved·Web and app

Go from a story to the rest of the picture

Every story now ends with where to look next for that stock: its insider trades, earnings, dividends or financial statements, and what this kind of filing means.

    • An insider filing leads to the stock's full insider history, an earnings release to its past earnings and statements.
    • Each calculator now links to the live data it needs, such as short interest, dividends or today's movers.
    • Stories also link to the guide for that kind of news, and the sector, earnings and dividend pages link to the guides that explain them.
    • In the app, the links open the matching tab on the company screen.
  11. Improved·Web

    A roomier header

The site header has fewer menus and a search box that keeps its size, so nothing gets squeezed on smaller laptop screens.

    • Publishing pages now sit under More, next to guides, the app and What's new.
    • Saved stories and Pricing are in your account menu and the Try Plus button.
  12. New·Web and app

Tell us what you think, and see what changed

Send feedback in two taps, and see every change in one list, on the site and in the app. A person reads every message.

    • Pick a face and add a line if you like. It goes straight to the people who build Quantisnow.
    • On the site both sit in the header. In the app they are under Account.
    • New changes show a dot until you have looked at them.
  13. Improved·Web

    Company logos on alert emails

Alert emails show the logo of each company in the story, stacked when there are several.

  14. Improved·Web and app

Number filters from ranges, on the site and in the app

Filter the feed by market cap, float, price and more with one tap on a range, or set your own numbers.

    • Range pills are open to everyone.
    • The app has the same number filters as the site.

  17. Improved·Web and app
